Femi and I met about 11 years ago while we were registering as fresh students at Adekunle Ajasin University. Throughout our 4 years of undergraduate studies, we didn't get the chance to get really close because we never stayed in the same hostels, we were in different faculties and attended separate student fellowships. But each time our paths cross on campus, be bonded like we were best of friends. Fast forward to today, Femi and I reconnected a few years ago and we have, since then, been catching up on the years we didn't spend together as friends. He is such an amazing young man and you'll never be able to measure how much of greatness he's got in him by merely looking at him. He opens his mouth to speak and you'd be sure to learn a lot. He is vast, well travelled and a smooth talker. Femi and I organized the highly successful 2017 International Youth Day event in Akungba-Akoko, Nigeria with just 4-days of planning. Two good heads, I agree, are certainly better than one. On the 12th of August, we hosted some bright young leaders and left them highly inspired. Together, we set out continue inspiring the next generation of leaders while at the same time promoting global peace. In my next posts, I shall talk about this event. #Watchout #Friendship#YoungLeaders #Millenials #Mentor #Mentorship #IYD2017 #GlobalPeace #Youth4Peace #UN #SDGs #GlobalGoals #SustainableDevelopment (at Akure)
