she sees the moon over her shoulder turns and tells the man she loves Look at the Moon . and he does he sees what she sees Hathor's crown a round shadow and a crescent . she whispers a prayer silently and her lips do not move . he loves the moon too and she sees it there is a triangle and it connects him to her . none of the others saw what they saw they saw a flat glow a sliver Nice they say . and their love of which he is unaware as yet . sounds down the ages the moon of ancient times has seen them before and she whispers back . wait just wait .
