it was a bit (very) Yikes how Jac was open with Elliot about how he was essentially her father (A Big Thing for her) and he chose that moment to be like “oh yeah i’m done with being a father figure for everyone” and somehow that was still depicted as a touching moment between them?
She is SO vulnerable in that moment and he’s choosing that as a good time to withdraw? Like, yes, fair enough you need to maintain distance sometimes but it’s not like Jac is latching onto him as a father out of nowhere. Their relationship goes back years and years?
