This is a simple jar spell, meant for protection of the home and family. It contains 3 holly leaves, holly berries, an acorn, a small flower, and a sprinkling of salt.
To charge it, set it in sunlight for 2 hours, and then bury it in dirt on your property or hide it in a bush on your property.
Peppermint Bark Brownie
Ingredients
1 (18oz) box brownie mix, plus eggs, oil, and water listed on the back
1 c. semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 tsp. peppermint extract, divided
1 (12oz) bag white chocolate chips
1/4 c. crushed peppermint candy canes
Instructions
Preheat the oven, prepare brownie batter, and bake brownies in a greased 9x13 pan, according to directions on the back of the box. Remove brownies from the oven and allow to cool completely.
Place semisweet chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and heat in 20-second increments until smooth, about 1 minute total. Add 1/4 tsp. peppermint extract and stir; pour over cooled brownies and spread evenly.
Repeat with white chocolate chips adding remaining peppermint extract. Spread over semisweet chocolate layer.
Sprinkle crushed candy cane pieces over top. Allow chocolate to cool and cut into squares to serve.
