also!! do you think he's close with lor'themar or it's more of a teacher/student thing? They deffs have a relationship, I sort of feel he's a bit of a father figure to arator (rip turalyon) and it's just... Sweet to me

As for Lor’themar, it seems ages ago now but this dynamic was pushed a lot in the lead up to midnight, from the blood ties novel and the cinematic where it shows he trained him as a child. Which I thought was a little random at the time and even moreso now that it had next to no bearing on the plot of midnight (so far). That being said! I enjoy their dynamic on the isle of quel’danas at the very start of the expansion. I like that Lor’themar in my opinion causes issues with turalyon on purpose and (perhaps less on purpose) positions himself as a father figure who relates to arator’s sensibilities in a way Turalyon does not!! I thought turalyon and Lor’themar were going to fight over him more throughout the expansion but alas. Overall I do like the idea of Lor’themar taking arator under his wing and wish we could see more of that. I think if they had actually finished the expansion there could have been a moment where Lor’themar feels bad for being mean to turalyon/getting between arator and turalyon now that Turalyon is (redacted). I don’t think Lor’themar is the most emotionally sensitive guy and probably usually relies on halduron for that stuff but I like the idea of him comforting arator in the aftermath of the raids in his own way. Visual aid included.
But yeah I really like their dynamic or at least the potential there!!!
