sometimes i think about the movie Yesterday (2019) and get lost in the concept of it and how I’d expand that world, because Jack simply does not give enough of a fuck about the fact that he has been hit by a bus into a different fucking reality. He also does not try hard enough to (1) figure out other ways reality has significantly changed, nor to (2) get the numbers of the only other two people who remember what the other world was like and then i grind my teeth about it

(Hopefully by this point you’ve finished all 116 minutes of ‘Yesterday’, the kind of person who isn’t bothered by spoilers, or are just deciding if you still want to keep watching.)

It made me wonder if Rocky was a big chip fan...or he was just hungry from all the running around. :D

PS: I also noticed that some consider time loops and parallel universes as ‘Fantasy’ rather than ‘SciFi’

PPS: My theory....is that the two Jacks switch from one timeline to the other and the change is so slight that both really could live in the other world easily.

(And....By the way!!!! I pity Parallel Jack! He’s in our world being constantly given references to The Beatles and Harry Potter!!)

PPPPS: Oh....my goodness....what if it was like DIane’s dream in the Season 4 opener!? What if Original Jack ended up in a world without cancer....and people are like: What’s cancer? (It’s not that they were able to eradicate it....somehow it didn’t happen at all)

INT. LIME STREET STATION (CAFE) - DAY

JACK rushes in and takes a seat across ELLIE.

Shortly after ROCKY does the same, sitting really close to JACK. He smiles at ELLIE.

JACK does a double take.

JACK Rocky, this is completely not a conversatin you're part of.

ROCKY Of course it's not.

He starts to rise and gives ELLIE an apologetic look.

ROCKY It's deeply private.
