Poor guy deserves some kinda softness in his life after everything he’s been through 😭

Not to ramble but I lowkey always imagine he’d have like stray cat energy or something if that makes sense lol. Like just prickly and tries to drive you away before giving up and accepting he’s not getting rid of ya anytime soon/outta the blue he’s seeking you out for comfort.

-When he first met you, he didn't even know what to think about you. You were attractive, sure, but he felt the same way he felt when a woman who he liked was around him. He was confused

-And, that lead him to avoid you as much as possible. He had enough 'problems' already and he didn't want any more trouble...But you, were stubborn. And were convinced that you could be friends with him

-And after some time of him telling indirectly he didn't want to do anything with you..He finally gave in and he turned into your friend

-You weren't stupid. You knew the effect you had on him, how he seemed to get more nervous around you and how he stared at your rear sometimes too (He can't help it!), you tried to ignore it at first but...It got to obvious at one point

-It happened when you both were drunk, you both went from laughing at the bar to kiss and make-out like beasts in your ranch and in your room (Don't ask me how you both got there). It was after that night where Jack decided to ask you out and make it official

-Now, he loves to SQUEEZE, you aren't safe from his hand. No-no, he is more controlled when he's outside with you. But when you are both in your shared house he's going to get his hands wherever he feels like at the moment (If you get mad he'll be kinda embarassed)

-He has a soft side, of course! He loves it when you sit on his lap and kiss him all around his face, he's going to complain. Of course, but he'll shut up, eventually

-He also likes to hug you from behind sometimes when you are cooking, and lean his head against your neck, maybe leave kisses on it too

-His idea of dates is taking care of the ranch together

-He loves it when you braid his hair. Even if it's messy, he'll love it and if it looks good enough he'll have it on for some days

-If you don't know how to read, he'll read books for you outloud

-He likes to cuddle you when you both are getting ready to sleep, he likes to do so because it feels real, since he was young he learnt that good things dissapeared more quicker rather than slower. So when you both sleep he needs to feel you, feel that the happiness is going to stay there forever

-He sometimes makes books himself and reads them to you, then asks for your opinion. To him that best way he can spend time with you

depressing/sad hcs about jack marston

(let's ignore my lil obsession w him ok)

tw: self harm and mentions of s*icide, discretion is requested and recommended

• okay, it's canon that jack marston is an anxious and depressive mf.

• so if you think about it deeply, chances are high that he has self-harmed or thought about it.

• maybe not with cuts, maybe burning with cigarettes, scratching until he sees blood, picking fights to get hit, etc. this would be after the death of his parents.

• when he was a 14-16 yr old he would pull his hair or hit the back of his head on the wall of his room when he felt insufficient.

• as he has said, he no longer has anything to live for.

• so he clearly never cared if he suffered or not.

• because there is no greater suffering than having lost your loved ones and being left alone for the rest of your pathetic life.

• he has nightmares about the day his father dies, and when he wakes up he couldn't go back to sleep.

• and that would cause insomnia.

• he hates seeing wild feverfews because it reminds him of the ones he left on his mother's grave.

• hates wearing his father's clothes, but he doesn't plan to spend his money on buying clothes, so he ends up wearing them.

• sometimes he sleeps in his parents' bed to feel their presence nearby.

• it stopped doing it a long time ago.

• would have thought about committing s*icide.

• would have failed miserably to try.

• will have spent years trying to find some reason to live.

• and by the time he would have found a reason, it would be too late.
