good god when are we going to stop jack snyder from making 2.5 hour films......he’s not even talented, he’s just whitebro dudes’ current fave.

they just like him opposed to taika waititi for being too funny (and other obvious reasons) and joss whedon for being too “feminist” (lmao). he’s literally the epitome of white male mediocrity, but truly believes he’s a genius.

yes parts of his films are “visually interesting” but uh, at what cost. hours of my life? characters with with no depth or representing the absolute worst narcissistic nihilism of capitalism with no emotional payout? his films are too long!!!!! hire a fucking editor/let them do their actual job!! big gun/explosion does not a good film make. also, let people sit on set, you asshole piece of shit! no surprise he loves ayn rand.

also, also he made sucker punch, which let’s dive into the absolute disgusting exploitation that was under the guise of “feminism”. sexy women being abused/lobotomized = woke 🤪 as if this shallow, gross view of female empowerment specifically meant for the male gaze doesn’t infuse all his films
