This is my first Welsh Language film Gadael Sneggi. It was broadcast last week on S4C (the channel we have in stead of Channel 4 in wales) and is now available here on their catchup service. It has subtitles so don;t worry.

Our first radio interview
Director Leyla Pope was interviewed this afternoon on Resonance FM. The interview also featured an audio clip from Bubbles with cast members Vanessa Bailey and Efa Grug Blosse-Mason and award-winning composer Jack Westmore's evocative score.
It was a funny, informative and varied interview and spent time analysing various elements of Bubbles and also charting Leyla's road to filmmaking.
Bubbles composer Jack Westmore received the award for "Best Composition" at the Made In Wales awards ceremony this November for his work on a short film for the BBC. Here he is making his acceptance speech in his usual self-deprecating style!

Solo cello is performed by the wonderful Rosie Biss, principal cellist with The Welsh National Opera.

The Composer
Jack Westmore is a young and extremely talented composer and was the perfect fit for Bubbles with his instinctive understanding of the emotions running throughout the story and ability to translate that into bittersweet, yearning melodies.
Recently awarded "Best Composition" at the Made In Wales Awards 2011 for his work on a project for the BBC, Jack's music consistently exhibits stand-out sensitivity and depth.
Jack has composed for TV, film and theatre in a diverse range of styles. His classical compositions have been performed by musicians such as Catrin Finch and Francis Lynch, with awards for his Quartet "Roha" and a subsequent commission to write for Lee Mottram (Young Musician of Dyfed).
Jack's lyrically haunting score for Bubbles features solo cello from Rosie Biss, lead cellist for the Welsh National Opera.
