“You know, being an ‘evil boy genius’ is kinda overused.”While Gary looked skeptical, this one looked like he can join Team Rocket for the laughs. Those guys are always after his childhood’s best friend’s Pikachu for some reason.
“And tell me, what kind of technology can you produce in your free time? Evil friendly? I doubt friendly is a better term for it.” He can tell that there’s something interesting about this one.
who: @jckfldng
where: somewhere on luxor’s campus
when: during the convocation dinner
Nate and Finnegan had ditched out of the dinner fairly early, Nate wanting to go smoke some weed and Finnegan agreeing to accompany him, as she always did, despite the fact that she preferred not to smoke herself. He had said he’d run back to her room, telling her to meet him in some obscure corner of the garden, only Finnegan....couldn’t find it. After wandering around for a little, she decided to walk back towards the dinner until she found someone to ask. “Hey!” she hollered out when she saw a student walking up ahead of her. “How familiar are you with the layout of the gardens? They’re sorta a maze, aren’t they?”
who: gemma & jack ( @jckfldng )
when: sometime after feb 11th
Gemma had leaned into the crusade’s task for her. Go big or go home, right? She figured she may as well be convincing about it....but then again, she was ready to move on. Not acknowledge that ever again. There was so many more interesting things going on at Luxor, like murder accusations, for example.
“You’re looking particularly gleeful these days,” Gemma said as she sat next to Jack, a smirk already on her face. “I swear you looked like you were about to pee your pants with excitement at that what’s-her-name murder assembly.”
"I swear I would've had a fucking orgasm right then and there if Whenwillshelieve wasn't the one giving the announcement. Turned me right back off again," Jack agreed, in typical crude style, shaking his head as if in disappointment. "This place has been dry for fucking months. Like, Halloween, decent. Then we got, what? A nice gift box with a weak ass threat?" His expression made it clear he was more than bored with that, although it brightened right up again as the discussion moved on to current developments. "And now someone needs to tell you lot it's not even my birthday because we got Jenevieve making murder announcements, you confessing your love for Latin Loverboy....... I for one am truly in Heaven."
“Understandably,” Gemma said, her head tipping to one side the slightest bit as a smirk crossed her lips. “I mean, what benefit is there to outing someone as a murderer? Either you’re wrong, and you look like an asshole, or you’re right and….they kill you next. Lose-lose, if you ask me,” she replied, a light laugh following her words after she spoke, though the amusement instantly faded from her face at Jack’s next words. “Please. That’s far less interesting. It was a moment of weakness brought on by the holiday. We can move on,” she said, dismissing - or at least attempting to - the subject with a wave of her hand. “Don’t you worry they’ll make you do something next? That would certainly make it feel like less of your birthday.”

Growing up, Masen had always found a sort of freedom that came with the night. There were always warnings and caution signs about things that lurked in the dark, but he had all but convinced himself that it was just to keep people from realizing how much was possible when the moon came into play.
Sitting around a fire, climbing through someone’s window while they begged him to keep quiet, night swimming and laughing because anything was possible; he could be absolutely anyone he wanted to be, and no one could look through their windows at him and scoff.
Now, even as his limbs felt weightless and he felt lighter in his footsteps, he knew he had to give up that freedom he’d always found comfort in. Now, the monsters he’d been warned of were real, and they waited with hungry bellies and purposeless conviction. He kept his eyes peeled, shot gun at his hip, as he approached the night watch station to meet with Jack. As expected, she waited for him and he greeted her with a half smile.
“Am I supposed to believe you’re some sort of villain? I’m sure I’d make a better evil genius.” Roll leaned back, frowning as if she was unimpressed, “Proclaimed evil geniuses are all the same these days...They don’t make them like they used to...”
