I had to take breaks, it didnt help that I started it while I couldn't sleep one night and binged a few episodes... Its really real and does feel too far off from today. But yeah Glow is awesome!!
Yeah, I think I watched one episode each night the first two nights I was watching. Last night I watched 2.5 episodes and it was too much. I’m gonna spread it out a little more for the rest!

I think I'm on episode 3, for pretty much the same reasons... too real and so, so dark. Have to be in the right mind to watch it, which kinda sucks because it's sooo goood.
It is, both sooo good and so, so dark. When I read it as a teenager it felt a lot more fantastical since the future setting was 25 years away, but with it set in the near future and everyone using iPods and talking about Tinder and Google in the flashbacks, it feels much more real.

I watched three episodes and then I stopped because I CAN'T.
I totally get that. It IS really good, though. I saw somewhere that it gets better after three episodes, but I’ve been amazed at it all the way through. I think maybe after the third episode is where things start to get more interesting, though? Like...more about the resistance? Not sure yet.

I couldn't watch more than 1 or 2 episodes at a time. Too disturbing.
It’s definitely not an easy show to watch! I don’t blame anyone for not watching it.

i made a personal decision not to watch at all, even tho im sure the acting is good, and compelling---for the same reason. it hits too close.
Totally, totally understandable. I myself choose not to watch most shows like this one. I’m not entirely sure why I want to watch it, actually...maybe because the book made a BIG impression on me when I was a teenager? Anyway, it’s really well-done but I am not judging anyone for choosing not to watch, especially in today’s political climate. :(
