Chapter 198: Long Distance

Me: Will you forgive me if I give u up?

Jack: yeah i will :))) i understand it. as long as ur free and happy

Me: do u want to give me up?

Jack: no i dont 😀 u know that. but i dont know. im too selfish. ur a girl and u need someone by ur side but im too far away. i just can talk to you like this instead of being around u and do something crazy to make u happy. i just can feel ur feelings through ur texts instead of looking into ur eyes. i will understand if u want to give me up 😀 but i wont give u up.

In 2017, 14 million couples in the states define themselves as having a long distance relationship. Not all long distance relationships will survive, and I do agree it’s not easy to maintain one as it requires both parties to make an effort when they want the relationship to last.

Of all the long distance relationship that fails, the average time they lasted is 4.5 months. And I’m proud to say that the Jackegg relationship is much stronger than the others. Maybe we don’t fall into this break-up category. 60 % of all long distance relationships survive.

Another interesting fact is that 10 % of all marriages in the states started out as a long distance relationship.

We couldn’t predict what happen in the future. If the relationship turns out well, I would love to have the journey with you. If the relationship turns out bad, we had had some good time together. What's meant to be, is meant to be. Sometimes things turn out to be beyond our control, it’s better for us to accept it and move on, instead of holding on to something that is already out of reach. This doesn’t mean that everything is up to fate. We have to do the work as well in order to achieve the success that we want.

Chapter 197: Cookieeees

The moment when you are addicted to cookies and can’t hide your love for cookies. And you must eat certain amount of cookies in a month, even in your dream. And you dream of the taste of certain cookies in the past all the time. Hahaha. And it becomes a part of you, you cant live without.

 I have had many packages of cookies, so I guess I have to stop before I get fat. But you know I can’t resist them. I fail to resist them and always wanting them. I am so weak to resist. They are like a magic food that gives me happiness, love, excitement, positivity and energy.

Me: Yayy! You mean 'some' cookies or 'a' cookie? I'm just happy you can be happy and take a rest finally.

Jack: i mean some :3 i will bake some cookies in last two weeks.

  Only Jack and Egg has the recipes. Basic ingredients are sugars, butter, vanilla, eggs, chocolate chips, flour, baking soda and salt.

Chapter 195: What You Need

This is a what-I-need list of what the younger J listed.

1. someone to talk to me before i sleep…

(We chatted almost every night before you sleep, unless either one of us are busy, so I think this one is somehow checked)

2. someone to take me to interesting places….

(Well, you’ve joined the travel club, and you travel to various places all the time)

3. someone to play game with me….

(You have friends asking you to play with them)

4. someone to tell me what i should do when i feel down…

(You know I am always here, listening to your problem, unless you don’t come to me, because you’re ‘busy’)

So I guess you’ve achieved what you need at the moment? So what you need now? What are your new goal to achieve? New things to learn?

Maybe

1. you need some free time to do what you love to do.

2. you need some days where you don’t have to work and just relax

3. you need to learn new things from time to time

4. you need to develop and spend some time for your interests

5. you need to schedule your time more effectively

Chapter 194: Adventure

When you thought that you were being so neglected for months, received no text for days, and you thought that he doesn’t care, but he took you on a great adventure full of love. And then you realized you should let him do his thing when he was busy. I did but I missed him too much.

I was busy from time to time too. And he was too whenever he had tests or trips. Just this time he disappeared for too long. And lots of plans were buried in the dust. For three months, he didn’t dare to make new plans since he was afraid he couldn’t commit. He was sweet that he tried to make some time to be with the pissed-off egg.

Me: It's okay, ur busy. Just use ur time to rest. Don't wanna make u extra busy

Jack: How about 8pm? It doesn't make me busy honey

Me: Idk. We will see. U don't have to feel guilty. I can't promise. (just like what u said)

But at the end, he made it up with an adventure. I was drowning in love.

Chapter 191: DNA 1217

Jack: Honey, what you think theme of this year is??

Me: what you mean theme of this year?

I am unsure what ‘theme’ Jack is referring to. It turns out to be the theme of the chapter on anniversary on this blog. The blog was started in summer 2014, without me even noticed, I have made special chapters for the special days all these years, and these are the 3 chapters on anniversary:

2nd anniversary (2014) chapter: Chapter 44: Time flies – 2 years anniversary

3rd anniversary (2015) chapter: Chapter 97: Three Years

4th anniversary (2016) chapter: Chapter 177: Remember When 1217

 Jack: Last year was remember when. The 3rd one was jealous.

Me: or this year theme is sunshine?

Jack: kiss hug ❤ theme of this year should be DNA haha

 According to Wikipedia, DNA is a molecule that carries the genetic instructions used in the growth, development, functioning and reproduction of all known living organisms.

According to Cambridge dictionary, DNA is the chemical, present at the centre of the cells of living things, that controls the structure and purpose of each cell and carries genetic information during reproduction

According to Jackegg dictionary, DNA is a special thing that’s not seen by the others and it carries a lot of love information.

Me: Are u free? lets play 'would you rather' game. ahaha 😀

1. Would you rather lose all of your money or all of the pictures you have ever taken?

Jack: I would rather lose all of the pictures. Because I can take another pictures hehe. Me: my answer is money hehe. bc i can get my money back, but not the pictures

2. Would you rather be the first person to explore a planet or be the inventor of a drug that cures a deadly disease?

Me: i think i know ur answer. Haha Jack: So what is my answer? 😀 Me: explore the planet although u wanna be a doctor Jack: Hahah yeah of course I want to explore a planet but I can't let people die 😀 so I wr be the inventor of a drug

3. Would you rather be able to fly on earth for one week or visit the space for one hour?

Jack: I would like to visit the space for one hour. Heheh. U know I love space.

4. Would you rather die in 20 years with no regrets or die in 50 years with many regrets?

Jack: I would rather die in 20 years with no regrets heheh. I want to die handsome. Living with regrets is terrible.

5. If it is fate that if we meet, I will have an unhappy life. Would you rather to (meet me and I have an unhappy life) or (unmeet me and I have a happy life)?

Jack: Unmeet you and you have a happy life. I don't want to be a source of anyone unhappiness

6. Would you rather relive the same day for 365 days or lose a year of your life?

Jack: Lose a year of my life for sure. I don't want to relive that many days. Too boring for me. Me: I would rather relive it for365 days.

7. Would you rather live under a sky with no stars at night or live under a sky with no clouds during the day? Jack: Live in a sky with no clouds during the day
