I did a piece of artwork inspired by Jackie Hill, using layers and different materials to produce a final collage type piece of work. I white washed the background in order to make it seem faded and help the top layer stand out, which gave me the idea of how I could do some street art recreations without vandalizing anything. I could white wash a picture of a brick wall and then do a graffiti design over the top

Spring in the air, filled with love, there's magic everywhere. Okay, we're not all young and in love as Van McCoy wrote, but we all like to be amorous. For me this has been joking with friends about playlists for sensual liaisons for a few weeks. Granted, The Hayes Code applied to music quite a bit in the mid century, so a lot of frank discussions around the pursuit and pleasures of sex weren't explicitly laid bare for all to know. I've crafted a set that starts with Diana Ross cruising in a Bar, Dinah Washington as a size queen and quite a few people stepping out and lying down with new partners without negotiating whether they're opening up their current or primary relationships or not. Nothing's new where the libido is concerned, just the lubricants that we use. So, as you get closer and warm up the world around you with your own carnal pursuits, I hope you can enjoy and learn some new techniques from these tunes. Fuck responsibly!
“Have Confidence that God Will Provide”
So I was on Instagram and for some reason I ended up on Speaker & Minister, Jackie Hill’s page. I was kinda stalking lol but, she’s anointed. Anyways, she had a video on her page of her speaking at a church and she captioned it, “Man shall not live by bread alone”. She had brought up that verse (Luke 4:4). In that account, it was about Jesus being tempted by Satan for forty days. Jesus responded to Satan with Matthew 4:4. Satan was trying to get Jesus to believe that Jesus needed bread to live. Jesus affirmed Satan that it was not the bread that would keep him alive but the GOD WHO PROVIDES IT. Hill had then said that we give so much credit to the food on our plates for feeding us. We give so much credit to the job for providing us with finances. We give so much credit to the house or that relationship for giving us the comfort we need. We rely so much on our talents to take us places. The reality what these things I just mention are not old to the things themselves, but to the GOD who gave them to us. We lose our minds when our job or things get threatened because were lead to believe that we really needed those things to allow us to live, move and have are being.
This video really inspired me personally because, of something that I encountered today. I want to encourage you today to have confidence that God will provide for you. Yes, we do need a job and food and things; but in The Spirit, I believe a lot of us it seems like we’ve made them our idols. And we forget that God is the really the one who makes it all happened. God forbid, but what if you lose your job tomorrow? What if the devil tries to tempt you like Jesus? Which he will. Will you have the faith and the confidence in the God you say you serve?
Love you guys! If you have any questions or need Prayer for anything, DM us! We will be more than happy to answer and pray for you.
