I initially started this to post for Mar10 day, but I'm always a day late, and a dollar short. (a phrase my mom used to say.) I'm clearly mentally older than she would have been today which is a joke that I have been 80 yrs old since i was 5.. ANyWhOoo, ADHD ramblings aside. I enjoyed making this. I am sure ill find a million flaws after i post it. I love my fellow shippers and i know these two were just fun co workers but they were my fav for quite a time there back in 2023 (8 years ago; because each year is 8 yrs lol)

Oh anon, you have to know that Jackie and Damien mean everything to me. I wrote the first fic in their AO3 tag. It's about the long distance, the pining, the 2800 miles, the right person wrong time of it all. It's about their affection styles being different enough that they become complements of each other. It's about emotional vulnerability being masked by humor and deflection. It's about teasing someone enough until you realize it's not a joke anymore.
