IN PROGRESS: A year ago, our beloved Jackson vanished. Lily started asking me to paint him for her about six months ago. And I tried. I did. I've had the sketch on this canvas since then. But I just couldn't work on it - it felt like if I did, it would be true and he wouldn't be coming home. Of course, I know it's still possible he can come home - but, it's probably better to paint this for Lily and accept that the odds are against it. We have two new puppies, Jolene Delilah Rose and Dottie Sue Clementine and they adore Lily. And she has lots of other animals too. So, wish me luck on this painting and I'll post when I finish it.
