Opinion on;

Character in general: The concept of Jacoby intrigued me as soon as I read your about, (mainly because initially the ‘former Forensic Science student’ bit caught my eye, but it quickly became just one of many things I like about him), because he seems like a genuinely realistic character. There’s no pretending that anybody in the apocalypse would get through without some kind of trauma, even if they haven’t had like some huge horrific past. Everybody living in that dystopia’s got stuff they both do and don’t want to forget—because to do either would just hurt.

How they play them: Brilliantly. Seriously, there’s no justification of every movement through use of extensive description of backstory with every sentence, Jake’s got a good dry sense of humour and is a genuine stand-up, smart guy who’s had a lot of stuff happen to him, and that comes through easily. Your writing style’s nice and clean and you reflect his thoughts while also steering the plot in a good direction without being obtrusive.The Mun: I get the impression you’re actually really smart/interesting/both, and you’re always really sweet and understanding if I’m late or if my writing happens to be a little sloppy that day. Awesome, seriously.

Oh geeze. There are several people that I write with that I simply adore their writing, their characters, and them as people. I really hate making lists though cause I’m always so paranoid that I’ll miss someone then feel like an ass for doing so. But basically anyone that has dedication and you can tell that they really get and enjoy their character and their writing can stir up real emotion, they’re pretty rad in my book.
