back on my bullshit
Already did this on twitter but the truth is that I love @jacquelineshyde and I want to wish her a happy birthday for being the best person in the world and for always being a queen no matter the fandom, the people, the time, the everything. You rock, you are the BEST! Ily, @yaboybergara <333333

fandom sucks
People have interpretations of what you're supposed to be like. If you're unattractive and overweight, you must have a great personality. If you're attractive, then you must not be the nicest person. People are always taken aback that I'm easygoing but not necessarily stupid.
what could have been
“you’re smart and sensitive and...nice-looking.”
I wasn't stalking your blog (yes, I was) and I saw the question about the Forman's hous ein s8: They were going to sell it and move to California like Bob, Hyde buys Red the Packers tickets for life with the money they've been saving from his 'rent' (... #bad writing #bad joke) to make him stay but Red is really into going to Cali. Ultimately, Kitty sees that she doesn't want to go anywhere, since her home is right there and she approaches Red in their kitchen. + (1/2)
(2/2) Red tells her it doesn't matter where they go or not, he will go wherever she is (I'm not quoting, but basically he tells her she's his home) and they decide to stay. Later, he says that's great because he has all the tickets ever for the team and Hyde just kind of, you know, loses his money since the tickets didn't convince Red (he was going to re-sell them, actually).
(In reference to this ask by @rock-and-compass.)
Ahhh, thank you! I make such a conscious effort not to think about S8 that I totally space on the details. I hate that bit about Hyde’s money... that’s something we know Red and Kitty have been saving since S2, and to have it just go to waste like that feels so representative of what the new showrunners did to Hyde’s character as a whole.
Blech.
Thanks again for the synopsis, though!! And you can always stalk my blog. :)
