Clockwise from top left: • @wellappointeddesk Col-o-ring Oversize pas • Exacompta Bristol Card • Oxford seyès paper • @rhodia_officiel paper • @leuchtturm1917 paper . As you can see variation is less extreme than with yesterday’s selection of papers, but there are still nuances. I think that the glossier and less absorbant the paper is the cooler or more grey and less green the ink will seem. Also, if the paper has any warmth creaminess to it, the more gold shimmer will be visible. 📓 . On which paper do you like it best? @JacquesHerbin.official L’encre 350 Vert Atlantide is unlike other inks because of its dual silver and golden shimmer, but also by its color that changes from paper to paper! ✨ . Clockwise from top left papers used are: a classic @exacompta_officiel white Bristol card, Midori Cotton, Tomoe River and @wellappointeddesk Col-o-ring Oversize. Swipe to see close-ups of each paper results. 📓 . I noticed that no two pictures of this ink were alike... but only understood why because I had swatched on Col-o-ring and then used it to write on Tomoe River paper 😏 . In all cases my new Benu Briolette was used to write and swatch. Both pen and ink were purchased at @appelboompennen . Which do you like best? New-ish pen and ink day! The new @JacquesHerbin.Official 350th anniversary ink Vert Atlantide is a fascinating color of green. This ink inspired by the Atlantic Sea which the founder of the company extensively travelled celebrates well the history of the Jacques Herbin company which was originally that of merchants who amongst other treasures brought from the Americas the first wax gum to Europe and thus invented the modern flexible seal (as opposed to the hard breakable was traditionally used before). 🌊🌎 . The ink’s color is very difficult to photograph because it is really like trying to catch the greyish dark green of the sea... plus it has a black halo contrasting with both gold and silver extra fine shimmer. I put my @fabercastellglobal Castell 9000 Jumbo HB next to it because in a way the shade is quite close... 💚 . As for the pen, I cannot think of a better pen for sparkle lovers like me than this @BenuPen Briolette Silver Ore. I don’t know why I didn’t get this pen earlier, but this will surely not be my last Benu. The B nib is JUICY and I love how this pen feels in my hand... plus it ✨SPARKLES! ✨💖💖💖 . Both the pen and ink were purchased from my friends at @AppelboomPennen. The pencil comes from a local stationery shop and the paper is the amazing Col-o-ring Oversize made by the wonderful Ana of @WellAppointedDesk. You might have noticed I am using it a lot, and it’s because the paper is seriously the best to show off ink these days. It is the same as the card stock used for the Col-o-ring cards a lot of use in the community to catalogue our ink collections. 📒🖋❤️ . Do you like shimmer?
