How did Echo and Zane fall in love in the Jade Ninja AU?
Also- where’s link to the fanfic…?
Zane fell in love with Cole mostly due to their proximity and similar daddy issues, Echo and Morro fell in love during Garmadon training them both.
They both have parental/mentor issues as well to bond over, but the main draw (i think, at least, and this can be applied to citrus in general) is how fate treats them. as just stand ins or foils for people fate has much more complicated plans for; in a way, fate abandons them, and they react to that in very similar ways (in jade ninja, they say screw fate and becomes heroes, and in canon they deicde fuck it! if fate forgets and abandons me, ill MAKE others have to reckon with me).
