This pretty orchid pot had a hairline crack that opened up upon its second pass through the kiln. Normally I would have tossed it after the first firing. But I glazed her anyway with a lot if extra glaze inside and hopes for the best as I made this one for me to keep for myself... of course, as it usually happens, that crack only grew wider. Although she won't work as the home for one of my indoor orchids as intended, she will now host my little striped jade plant outside. #fortheloveofalia #accidentshappen #jadepot ...& I'll just make another one.
