there’s a fine line between cute and sexy that woohyun has come to learn in the six months he’s been a trainee.
and he’s also decided he is neither. woohyun is far too awkward to be attempting sexy moves, his dancing subpar to the other trainees that he’s almost always embarrassed when he attempts it. cute is something a bit more natural, something he’s done time and time before—but it’s still just as awkward each time. January evaluations hadn’t been a walk in the park, and while woohyun hadn’t struggled as much as some, it was still a struggle to a degree.
this time it’s no different, but at least he has plenty of others around with him.
a sexy concept decided, woohyun stands still as the music begins to appear, posed as they have practiced. he tries not to shoot a glance at jongin’s dancing, the slight bit of jealousy that eats him for being surrounded by dancers far better than him almost making him falter. but movement is placed and before he knows it his body is moving out of habit, focus on his footwork held high in his thoughts. evaluations are a tough time, and woohyun has learned to put his all into it—even if he’s struggling.
the events of the past few months be damned; he needs to work hard, if not harder than ever before.

his lines come easy. singing is easy but paired with sharp movements it’s a bit harder—but woohyun has to try his best. all effort should be focused; he can’t be a trainee if he does it half-heartedly, can’t become an idol if he doesn’t try.
aron steps forward and woohyun tries his best to stay in formation. the movements of the dance aren’t has easy as they have been—performing in practice is completely different than performing for evaluations. he swallows thick, moves his arms and legs to a motion the music bends him too on instinct, on impulse.

taemin, jaewon, jongin, aron – the boys of kt are a team and the only way to do the eval justice and to do it right is to give effort. woohyun swallows and steels himself; keeps his position with sharp movements and his voice singing at the proper intervals. he keeps his expression as in tune to the song (cool and sexy—lip biting and bedroom stare in full glory), tries his best not to think about any embarrassment or anything that could trip him.
there are many who shine; but look at what’s real among them.

it’s not that hard for him to think of who to give these flyers to. other than the usual people passing by, of course he’s got a few people in mind. one of them of course, being his good friend jiyong (someone he’d frequently club with ever so often. if there was a jiyong at a club, you’d best believe a jaewon would be near by). of course it’s a little funny now that jaewon is giving jiyong a flyer for kt among all places but he’s still excited as heck.
when he spots the male immediately jaewon beams and he runs up to jiyong with little to no shame. “kwon! ji! yong!” he yells, running towards the other male with a smile etched on his face. “you have to take this,” he says almost shamelessly, holding out the flyer for his friend to see. “i can’t take no for an answer so you have to take this,” he laughs, the playful nature between the two all too familiar for him.
Jiyong looked up as the other male called his name, smiling immediately and tilting his chin up in greeting. He was heading to a friend's studio, one that he frequented a lot so he wasn't surprised to see Jaewon. He was, however, surprised to be receiving one of these flyers, despite knowing that Jae had gotten into KT. "Heyyyy, wassup!" He accepted the flyer and nodded finally in understanding. "Oh that's right, I forgot they always have their newbies hand these out," he laughed. "And if you don't get them out, they make sure you never debut or something right? I got your back man, no worries!"
tiffany’s not one for formalities when it comes to the holidays ( or even sticking around after giving someone a gift — asking someone to open it in front of her only makes her feel inordinately shy for some odd reason ) but she definitely doesn’t want to skirt around showing off any holiday spirit and spreading a little christmas magic in whatever manner she can. how commercialized the holiday can be doesn’t faze her compared to the notion that it brings friends and family alike together. one thing she doesn’t want to let go of in kt is the fact that they should be like family — all the trainees see each other more than they see their own blood-related families by now anyway.
after daring convincing hyunjae to dress up as an elf with her, even if it’s small, barely distinguishable once they have to take off the elf hat for serious training ( because anything else this close to the gayos is blasphemous ), a little candy sleigh is left for each person, a joint effort by the two of them because as hyunjae said to tiffany, “you can’t be trusted alone with a glue gun. that’s just asking for trouble.”

the little card that accompanies every sleigh completes the pun and it’s entirely like her to use a pun in the first place. with the gayos so close, tiffany’s certain everyone could use every ounce of holiday spirit and confidence they could get. at the very least, she’d love a laugh or a smile.

as the post says above, every kt trainee should have received a little candy sleigh and a note with it! sorry for the lateness but tiffany wouldn’t let me not do something and her love for puns is too strong to resist. that being said, happy holidays, everyone!
( – jaewon’s been a little too sneaky lately, but that’s completely fine. he walks up to jiyong’s apartment as quietly as possible, careful to not grab any unwanted attention. it’s then when he puts down the box – terribly wrapped and looking ugly as hell. it’s not as though jaewon has put zero effort into his wrapping. if anything he’d put in too much and it’s ended up looking like an inferno of ugly. but it’s the gift that really counts ) – ( – once he’s settled the box and he’s sure he’s ready to go, jaewon quickly rings the bell of the door before running off, praying that nobody spots him in his unkempt attire )
( – the box has the words DRAGON written all over it, so that it’s clear who it’s supposed to go to and a note by the side. the note reads:

in the box lies two gifts. the first being a beer bottle plushie and the second being a polaroid of jaewon’s face. truly the best gift )
-Jiyong is about leave the apartment, heading over to his mother's place, when he sees the package, which takes about two seconds before he instantly knows who it's from. He doesn't even need to see the name because, good god, Jae can't wrap for shit. The poor thing looks like a 3D version of a scribble. The card makes him laugh and he decides one day when they're both famous, they're going to put out a Christmas album entitled "Saving Christmas With Our Dope as Fuck Raps"-
-he brings the present inside quickly and opens it up, cracking up at the plushie and the picture. He leaves the present on his bed and gets out his phone to text Jaewon real quick-
