what’s a jaffle?
Hello anon! For full detail pls see this post where I explained jaffles for Meg but essentially it's just a variation of a toasted sandwich 😌
Jaffles as good as your Nan made them in the 90's...@fcoffee_au · · · #fcoffeemortdale #jaffles #coffee #cappuccino #lunch #supportyourlocal #eatlocal #othersideofthetracks #mortdale #sydneycafes #sydneyeats #sydneyfoodguide #sydneyfoodshare #sydneylocal #sydneyfood #sydneyfoodie #foodie #foodporn #foodshare #foodblog #foodphotography #foodoftheday #foodgasm #foodlover #fooddiary #lifestyle #foodwanderer #eeeeeats #hailthechef #thefoodwithbite (at F’coffee) https://www.instagram.com/p/B8Ybee1AbJO/?igshid=12yblnet7mozx

One of our best camping investments, the humble waffle iron!
Vegan jaffles are my favourite breakfast! This one is an avocado, vegemite and cheese jaffle 🥑🧀🍞

The savory ham and cheese and the sweet ripe pear in these jaffles go well together. They are made with bread that has a hint of Dijon mustard.
Ingredients: 4 slices of bread. 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard. 8 slices of ham. 1 pear, thinly sliced. 1 cup shredded cheese such as cheddar or gruyere. Butter, for spreading.
Instructions: On one side of each slice of bread, spread Dijon mustard. Put two slices of ham, two slices of pear, and some shredded cheese on top of two slices of bread, mustard side up. Place the last few slices of bread on top, mustard side down. Put butter on the outside of every sandwich. Warm up a sandwich press or jaffle maker. To make the sandwiches, put them in the waffle iron or sandwich press and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes, until they are golden brown and the cheese melts. Carefully take the bagel or pancake out of the machine and serve it hot.
