ARTFIGHT JUNE PRACTICE PT 5

Happy Finale day! My hats off to all the fans who managed to avoid the spoilers. Made this a while back, after seeing the last act on the 4th (which was PEAK! I criedddd) and wanted to remake my characters that fit the gang and their personalities! Also uses as an opportunity to draw different styles and accommodate for different characters designs! (Rip Ragatha, I ran out of space and characters 🥲) More info below!

Left to right:

Jake Hill (Tablet)/ Caine: He does give an insane leadership vibes, but sometimes wanting control over the situation and letting things go his way, he tries to work on that. But in reality, he just wants to be what everyone wants him to be. Once you see how hard he works to help others, you love him a whole lot more.

Sharky (Shark...?)/ Bubble: Lives with Jake, so he has had his fair share of arguments and moments with him (good and bad), but they share similar thoughts

Simon Pint (Calculator) / Kinger: Had to match this up bc in Kingleader/royalteeth we trust. He is pretty smart, so he could be a programmer if he wanted to! (Also the cross looks like a plus sign!) He's known to keep things level headed, but he starts to lose himself if he drowns in his thoughts

Maddie Knox (Phone) / Pomni: Takes her a while to get used to new places and things, but can be very trustable to her friends. Though she is a frequent panicker to things happening suddenly or not according to plan. But she's the glue that holds her friends together, and enemies.

Miles West (GPS) / Jax: Seems to play the cool charade but can’t help to think about how others feel, not to mention how they feel about him. Of course he can’t show these feeling to anyone else, just him. He has his good moments though.

Marxon Vale (Remote) / Gangle: He has a series of emotions inside him, but he has to mask them underneath the persona that EVERYONE sees. But that mask is fragile, and can break at any moment, but he’s keeping it together just fine. When he’s alone though, he needs to drop the act.

Kay Stevenson (Computer) / Zooble: There’s many parts to his personality and hobbies, but he normally keeps a fixed energy in his voice and energy, but genuinely cares about others and empathetic to the others.

Genuinely I just want to say thank you so much for this amazing show (haha, not intended). TADC taught me so much more than just having meaning in a stagnant life. It gave me the hope to be more creative and make a world and characters that I have always wanted to see, make them my own, and just have fun and run wild with it. Also, a vast majority TADC fandom is so dedicated and big, which made it so awesome to really see the impact when all of the cosplayers, fans decked out in merch, and excited watchers came into the theater during the last act. Not to mention the impact it has had on the indie animation community, and how it paved the way for so many other projects to come, and hopefully, with this push, indie animations and animation as a whole will get the respect it deserves among corporations. I see myself in so many characters of this show as the episodes deepened their character, and I’m so happy that I got to see that growth.

@gooseworx and the GLITCH team, thank you for pioneering such an amazing project. I’m sure that from beginning to end this project was a huge step for the company and the industry, but I’m so glad that I got to see this project till the end. (I distinctly remember staying up to see all of the YT premieres after the pilot :3) I cannot wait to see what all awaits you on the next project, and I’m overjoyed you wall finally get a break from the show, y’all deserve it! But overall, it’s so evident how much love and human care was put into this project, from the amazing digital visuals, to the incredible and tearjerking story and soundtrack (SPEAKING OF, Goose and Evan Aldrete, if your able to, PLEASE finish the OST’s and release them in the future! It’s too good to just stay in your computer files. And uh…I wouldn’t uphold the VINYL part of my name if I didn’t ask for it to be pressed on vinyl…)

Thanks you so much for putting your heart and soul into the project, I mean with out you the characters would just be moving their mouths with no sound! (Well, not Kinger and Zooble ofc 😶) We also are grateful for your efforts in being so active and generous in the community, being at every panel, stream, con, comment section, you went above and beyond when it came hanging with the fandom and acknowledging each fan. I hope all of you feel accomplished for the piece of LITERAL INTERNET HISTORY that you got to be a part of, and I can tell that having a role in that required all of your talented skills and then some. I am very impressed by how much you have grown in these characters, and the duality, depth, and emotion you gave their lines. (I could list off so many, but the fish is holding me at gunpoint…) Thank you for showing this series and its world so much love just by being a part of it.

Alright enough thank you’s and stuff, it’s time to watch this episode again!!!! Cry again, laugh again, scream again, all for the last time 🎪✨
