Parker states his style for the Darkstalker Graphic Novel is between Joy Ang’s and Mike Holmes’ artwork!

Every 30-40 pages Parker would send the pages to scholastic who’d send it to Tui for notes.

His favorite environment to draw was the nightwing castle!

His favorite character is Fathom!

Jake Parker is the illustrator for the Winglet Graphic Novel!!

Tui pictured Darkstalker as a politician she disliked near the end of book 10!

i love how theres two dedicated panels showing both clearsights and fathoms absolute raw unfiltered shock at darkstalkers bs during his downfall and i think its so funny LMAO theyre going to jump him like look at them

WoF fans after acting like any critique on Mike Holmes’ art is a crime against humanity and then bitching about the dumbest fucking details with Jake Parker’s art

I dont like Jake Parkers artstyle.

I dont haye him but his art is just not fitting for wings of fire.

In some aspects like poses and wing anatomy is better than Mike Holmes, his over all understanding of anatomy is just not that good. 'Its dragons! Why should it look realistic!'

It doesn't have to look real, but it should look good. The jaws are disproportionate, as the bottom jaw hangs too short to the top, the angles are too triangular and the bottom jaws are often too thin.

Jake Parker's style makes any dragon look like a nightwing, and when it isnt a nightwing, it looks too square.

Why in many panels does the head switch to being too small for the body or the eyes too big or small?? In the seawings it looked as if he didn't even try.

Now, this being said drawing comics is hard, I know. But with all the inconsistencies and how thin the arms and legs are, I just do not like it.

I am glad to have a graphic novel for darkstalker, and some panels are pretty awesome, but overall I do not like Jake Parker.
