Blue controls you all the time (what you wear on your show, what you perform, what time you go out of his office). He's always in track of your moves and location because he has his eyes on you everywhere in the brothel. And when you go against his orders, he would give you time to rethink your actions before punishing you.

Whenever you exceed your limits, he'd lock you up in a dark and cold room for one-three days until you became crazy that you will start begging for him to come back and to not leave you alone again.
