“  trust  you  ?   .  .  .   i  don’t  even  know  you.  ”    audible  scoff  spilled  from  glossed  tiers.  unwilling  to  put  stark  differences  aside,  nor  would  she  consider  placing  any  amount  of  faith  in  him.  adversaries  by  nature,  mere  fact  she  was  not  willing   to  overlook.  genuinely,  was  he  out  of  his  fucking  mind  ?  gaze  unflinched,  sharp  jaw  clenched.  she  was  a  sapphire  in  the  rough,  hardened  exterior  proving  a  more  acrimonous  interior.    “  do  you  want  me  to  be  honest,  jacob  ?  i  wouldn’t  trust  you  if  my  undead  life  depended  on  it.  ”    practically  hissed,  withholding  no  exaggerations.  skeptical  was  an  understatement,  light  in  cinnamon  sapphires  dwindled.

        bella kicks her      shoes off at the door  ,  her keys go in the bowl on the table and bag on a hook  .  she pads through the home quietly  ,  flicking on lights as she goes  .  in the kitchen  ,  she checks the oven and then the fridge  , finding the prepped lasagna dish she’d left for jake that morning  .  bella chuckles to herself before heading toward the back door  ,  slipping on her boots  .  she crosses the yard to the garage and leans in the open doorway  .  “  jake  ,  ”  she says to catch his attention away from her old truck  ,  arms folded and a smile tugging at her lips  .  “  pretty sure we’re going to starve if you keep trying to save her  .  ”

𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑’𝐒 𝐆𝐎𝐓 𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐇𝐀𝐈𝐑—   sticking to the strands of russet tresses which were glued to his face by sea water.   he’d been surfing now 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣 𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙧, to no ones surprise at all with how often he could be found at la push.  however the only thing that made this instance different from any other time, 𝚠𝚊𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚑𝚎’𝚍 𝚝𝚘𝚕𝚍 𝚗𝚘 𝚘𝚗𝚎 𝚠𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚑𝚎 𝚠𝚊𝚜 𝚐𝚘𝚒𝚗𝚐.  not even his sister.  i͟t͟ ͟w͟a͟s͟n͟’͟t͟ ͟l͟i͟k͟e͟ ͟c͟h͟a͟r͟l͟e͟s͟ ͟t͟o͟ ͟j͟u͟s͟t͟ ͟d͟i͟s͟a͟p͟p͟e͟a͟r͟, it wasn’t like him to just... wander off.   and yet that is exactly what charlie did—  and he went to the only place in which he could think, while his mother sent every available resource through 𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒍 & 𝒉𝒊𝒈𝒉 𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒐 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒉𝒊𝒎.  it was never any surprise that jake 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙞𝙢 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩, though it was surprising he’d found him before his sister had.
