SIDE DISH 

Most of us Love to eat. In fact, eating is something we can't do away with in our everyday life.

In banquets, there are the main dishes and the side dishes. The Main Dish is something we look forward to. And the side dish is there to fill our tummy whenever we feel like eating it...

Just a revelation that caught me this week is that God Does not want us to make him our Side Dish. The one we go to whenever we don't have anyone to run to, anything to hold on to. GOD WANTS TO BE OUR MAIN DISH, the Real Deal. The one we can't do without EVERY SINGLE DAY.

He is not an ATM-Like God, that we ask from when we need something. This makes us focus on the Blessing and not the BLESSOR. He wants to be part of our innermost soul. Our Best Friend, Lover, Comforter, Provider and Father. HE IS OUR ALL IN ALL.

FORGIVEN

"Come now, let us settle the matter," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.” ---Isaiah 1:18

I forgive because I am Forgiven

By the one who has no sin

And though how many times I have been hurt

The Peace I believe in wins the battle within

I get hurt. I Cry. Yet I forgive.

I get bruised with words. Hard, yet I forgive. 

I get lies and dark secrets. Still I forgive. 

Because he holds me more than this world could ever do.

Forgiveness is not in my nature.

For I am sinful and vile.

Yet from that murky place he took me.

So I can breathe life with the Divine. 

Come with me. Come with HIM.

Let us Forgive Together. 

For in HIM there is Forgiveness

In HIM there is Peace.

It’s hard to say “I’m Sorry”

Because it’s hard to Forgive

But once you know you’re Forgiven

It’s much harder not to Forgive.

What on earth are we anyway?

Just a worthless thing.

Yet for HIS Grand Purpose

HE made us into something.

Know you are Forgiven.

Washed as white as snow

All the hurts in the past.

Can no longer take a blow. 

Those who have hurt us

Have played their part

So that what we can have now 

Is truly a steadfast heart.

Love is Not a Piece of Cake

Love is not a piece of cake. When you begin to Love something or someone, it’s as easy as A-B-C. But to Keep loving that something or someone entails an everyday decision. Yes, it takes Daily Love to have that Forever Love.

Love is not like a trap where you fall into and can’t get out of. It’s not forever Cloud 9 where there would be the unexplainable butterflies in your stomach. Love dwindles away when you choose to let it go – Not a wonderland saga where there is no suffering and pain.

Love is not entirely bad, in fact it is Ultimately Good. Love Springs from inside of you as you were knit by Love altogether.

Love is not imprisonment where you cannot express your beautiful thoughts. Love is not Angry. It forgives the biggest of wrongs. Love is not Jealous but gives your wholehearted trust. Love is not deception you lay bare your inmost thoughts.

Love is not the Norm, it is not popular. Love is not seeing the bad in people, it protects the thought and breeds compassion. Love is not a walk in the park But it will be… when you meet Love Himself, every single day.
