After spending nearly two years stuck in a isolated mansion in the middle of a fenced off forrest, the members of the S.P.E.L.L project have had their memories returned to them and have been submerged back into their life before the Erased. Did it sound bad, Iain couldn't help but question himself, that the regret had already begun to creep into his system as he stood there on the street that evening? Frankly, he didn't even need to ask -- it undoubtedly did, but it didn't remove any of the truth from the situation all the same. It was what it was, and as his arm dropped back down to his side after pressing Gwen’s doorbell, ever so slightly sweaty palms and all, he was bordering on wondering if he’d made a terrible mistake. It probably wasn’t much of a surprise that Iain didn't do the whole ‘date’ thing often - hell, he barely even looked at most girls. But there’d been no denying that Gwen was gorgeous, when he’d first seen her earlier that week on one of his rare days off work; and in an equally rare burst of confidence he’d taken the decision to approach, miraculously securing the date he was currently standing in front of her home about to start. But the longer he did, the more time he had to think about the situation, and the sicker he felt as his nerves began to pick up once again. Beautiful, sweet, smart, approachable, a smile that had just about taken his breath away upon first meeting -- he ticked them off one by one in a mental check-list, as his brow furrowed slightly and his tongue ran over his lower lip. What the hell could a girl like that, see in a guy like him? “Bloody hell,” he murmured under his breath, shifting his weight from one foot to the other as he waited.
