So it’s really Anika ? Damn I’m done. Since season 1 they are treating her like shit. I’m done to see her being the punching-ball, it is making me feel uncomfortable. Also, Rhonda really ? Killing Anika would kill the baby too ! This baby isn’t just Anika’s, it’s Hakeem too. You know, Hakeem, Andre’s baby brother ?? The only good thing was that Jamal is alive and is more and more done with this crazy family. I just want him to take Hakeem and to get the fuck away from them. At least Andre seems to have found some kind of peace in the middle of this mess.

Jamal Lyons kind of broke my heart

That latest episode of Empire was bittersweet. I loved seeing Alicia and Jussie work together, and I loved that she was his patron diva. But that last minute though... It makes sense in a Kinsey scale kind of way but also just kind of shits on his history and personal struggle, and my own struggle that I projected on to him. While I'm happy that bisexuals get a new hero, I'm upset that I lost one. So now we're back to just Frank Oceans. Ugh. And I mean, I know gay guys who've been with girls because love is love, but it's almost like they chickened out with Jamal's character because people weren't letting it go or something. This whole season he's done nothing but pull away from his gay identity and has become as straight as possible. No more male pronouns on his song, salacious female backup dancers that want his dick on stage, and fights with his ex about wanting to be seen with the LGBT community. Idk. Depending on how they play it this could be either the best victory or betrayal of the black gay community. Whatcha plannin', Lee?

My thoughts on the season 2 premiere of Empire!!

FREE LUCIUS!!!!!!!!!!! So Cookie, Hakeem, and Andre are trying to take over Empire from Jamal who is doing a DAMN good job of impersonating his daddy. With the help of Ms. Whitman who is played by Marisa Tomai....was I the only one when Ms. Whitman was cuddle up on Cookie was like 'Please, please sleep with each other,' Now Lucius has a new cell mate name Frank. Seems like they know each other and was the same guy who send those roses to cookie. This seemly dangerous person is played by CHRIS ROCK!!!! I'm going to give y'all a moment to processed that. Not that I'm doubting Rock's acting ability, he's good. But seeing him getting off that bus and inmates were saying junk about him. I was like this would be asking Bugs Bunny or Mickey Mouse to play a killer pimp complete with switchblade and require to say, "Bitch, where's my money?" I mean he's was out of character in this one. But being an actor some rules require you to be out of your element....and he delivers. Good job. When y'all see Anika's twerking that booty of hers and Ms. Whitman took notice and started dancing with her was I the only one that thought 'So when are they going to show there sex scene' fail 😢😢😢😢 Just like Cookie's takeover plan..After she asked Anika to sleep with Ms. Whitman...Again FAIL I would've love to see them in action it would've been like Jennifer Tilly and Gina Gershon from Bound...Yes that EPIC!! Jamal went from a kind hearted musical genius into an asshole. Even at the end of the episode in which he called Cookie, Lady. NO HE DIDN'T!!!!! Was my instant thought. Lesson kids, money and power would change people. Not saying anything else, you just have to see. But I must say season 2 looks to have a good start
