Happy Kirby Day!

Been a bit since I've drawn both Mika and Licorice, and I've yet to draw the two of them together, so I decided to combo that!

Nobody talks about this but in Kirby Star Allies when you use cook Kirby on different characters they turn/cook into different foods based on them.

Magolor cooks into an egg, a fucking egg. Marx cooks into a bread like only his shoes are cooked or something. Too bad there is no grape in the game.

There are a lot of other funny and cool examples as well, Susie is a kind of special apple ice cream, Dedede and Coo are roasted chicken, Daroach is the special shortcake from Squeak Squad, the Jambelievers are macaron because of their shape. I love this game much more the more I play it.

A day late for the Star Allies anniversary, but here's a Kirby OC I've been tossing around, and I've finally figured out an idea for him! Don't let that staff fool you. Licorice is not a Jammerjab. Just a simple Jambeliever, he's a very late creation of Hyness's army. Due to his creator being far more focused on "his big project", he and the remainder of his batch are far smaller than standard Jambelievers. Curious and a people pleaser to a fault, he thought he was doing good when he revealed Mika's secret. Not only did this get her in trouble, it accidentally threw him into the fray as well. Caught in the dimensional rift spell that Mika conjured up as a hasty escape, he, now bearing a "borrowed" Jammerjab staff, also has to create a new life. I actually made this guys back in May, but I never found the time to properly draw them till now

even now they aren’t properly drawn

also I just wanted an excuse to draw a Jambeliever with glasses

they’re all connected to Sylvia’s weird story/dimensional travel, all from her dimension, plus she named them all, just, made friends when she was younger and gave them names, nobody understood why, possibly because although her and her unknown sisters were close, she was still stuck with this sense of loneliness, and this just made random friends

the first she met was in charge of repairs, they had a team but preferred to work solo, they knew almost everything about the base, and knew how it worked and everything, when they had free time they liked to tinker, thus the girl who wasn’t the best at names or their meanings, names them Gizmo

the second was actually a Jammerjab, not a Jambeliever, they were quite optimistic and very hyperactive, one who would soon fall over the girls orders in years to come, the two got along great, playing games, training together, the energetic creature got along well with the airhead, and thus the girl names her Glory

the final was a shy one, mostly in charge or archives and every book and scroll in the small library placed in the middle of the base, always caught up in a book and not a fan of loud noises or excitement, they would always read to the girl if she asked, the Jambeliever even taught to girl about potions and healing, and that there is always another option other than violence, thus the girl named her Sage

how they even got in Kirby’s dimension in the first place

They were running low on soldiers, so they sent some regular Jambelievers to join one of the three generals teams in search of the missing Jamba heart pieces, Gizmo and Sage were forced to choose, but chose Sylvia’s team since they knew her best. They set off towards a desert planet, Sylvia sent her team off to find the pieces, while she sat on the ground and brought the plants near her back to life. Glory said this was normal, she didn’t want to find the pieces, she didn’t want a doomsday, Sage agreed with Sylvia, Gizmo just sighed and went in search of pieces, by the time Glory and Sage stopped talking Sylvia was gone, so they went on their way looking for her till they heard a scream, they ran towards its source only to see the poor girl holding onto a rock for dear life, about to get sucked into a dimensional portal, others su her, to scared to approach or they’d get sucked in to, Glory didn’t hesitate, they grabbed Sage and ran into the crowd, soon seeing Gizmo trying to get pass they grab them to, leaping out of the crowd and towards Sylvia, who finally slipped. Of course, Glory didn’t think about how to hold on, her hands were full and she couldn’t grab her staff, they all got sucked in before the portal finally closed.
