Go my James Dillon & Stephen Maturin agenda
More folks from the Aubreyad part 2.
The first picture is James and Stephen in their United Irishmen times :)
Reading master and commander with james dillon as my favourite character and just reading every scene he's in like "Oh he's so dead. He's gonna die."
Am I the only one who gets a little teary-eyed at this part!?
Aubreyad college AU please!
1) Jack and Stephen are not ORIGINALLY roommate/housemates but something happens and they end up placed together
2) Jack is a mathematics major, Stephen is premed. Diana is biology with the plan to go to veterinary school after and specialise in horses/livestock. Sophie is an English major who has already been published. Dillon is.... maybe theology? But he's definitely an ROTC weirdo
3) Stephen and Dillon knew each other in secondary school
4) Through a series of contrived events Stephen ends up doing clinical hours or something like that in a childcare centre and this is where he meets Dil. He later adopts her and she does not die
5) Jack and Stephen get an improbably long lived goldfish named Surprise
Send me more AU ideas and I'll come up with 5 headcanons for them!
Aubrey: Do you know a guy named James Dillon?
Maturin: No Jack, not everyone in Ireland knows each other.
