Jagiello...
The Surgeon's Mate
Jagiello: with great hotness, comes great responsibility
More folks from the Aubreyad part 2.
The first picture is James and Stephen in their United Irishmen times :)
Im still struggling with how to imagine the uniform that Jagiello wears... Because I dont think its Swedish even though hes in their service..
Last time I drew him it was in something... eeehh sort of but not really similar to Swedish hussar uniform... and I am still not happy with it.
Him being wealthy Lithuanian (prev Polish-Lithuanian) nobility n attached to the swedish embassy (?) could mean hes got a uniform design of his own to distinguish him... but I dont know enough about how these things worked to be sure..
The uniform is described to be mauve (that tbh.. encompasses way too many possible shades between blue, gray and magenta).. it is silver laced... and with breeches that sport a cherry-coloured stripe...
Which makes me think it might not be hussar uniform at all (Stephen doesnt know the difference).. but really a polish/lithuanian uhlan (working for swedish embassy!?) ...
Also possible that POB just completely made it up too.. If there is an entire new island in the The Surgeon's Mate and nationalities of some regiments are switched too n bunch of events are just completely different why do i even worry about uniform design of a minor character..
Im back on my bullshit... just like with the clock tower in Valletta.
*and since i am way less immune to the charms of a hussar uniform than to uhlan, ill keep on drawing him in hussar garbs...
