I feel sometimes that because trans men aren’t as marginalized or stigmatized as trans women, people (who probably have good intentions) do sometimes get away with saying shit about us as a group that like. Probably shouldn’t be normalized? I’ve noticed for a very long time that people would be very infantilize-y with trans men even though almost every trans man I know has been pretty against that kind of behavior. Especially pre-HRT I know that I hated it when people told me how young I looked. And even then I was stealth, so I can’t imagine what trans men who weren’t stealth had to deal with.
