So I was reading How to Marry a Marquis and noticed that the novel is set in 1815 and James and Elizabeth probably married in the same year

Which means they are nearly the age of Anthony and Kate, and I have a feeling that Kate and Elizabeth will be good friends. Maybe Kate will even contribute in the rewriting of the book

Things I had completely forgotten were book canon: Simon and James being childhood friends and spending school holidays together at Lady Danbury's.

Seriously, why is Shondaland even bothering with OCs with so many book characters to fill in the gaps for secondary storylines. Give me Lizzie and James and the Smythe-Smith clan already!

Seeing more of Lady Danbury in the Bridgerton (and Bridgertonverse) books just makes the creative choice to have her adopt Simon in the adaptation even more ingenious and extremely in character!

Also, they'd better have Simon and Gareth know each other and have an older/younger brother dynamic by the time season 7 rolls around (yea, I am that confident) because I can't wait to see the two of them interact.

(And I definitely wouldn't object to seeing Simon interact with Lady D’s great-great nephew Marcus Holroyd or her other surrogate son James Sidwell. Seriously it's too bloody easy to have Marcus and Honoria and/or James and Lizzie make an appearance.)
