Whatever happened to that protagonists seeing their S/O’s after Silent hill ask?
(Honestly I don’t know. I remember getting it a while ago, I remember responding to it, but I can’t find it anywhere, so I’ll answer it here. This assumes mostly good endings.)
Harry: Harry finds his s/o outside of Silent Hill while he still has Cheryl-soon-to-be-Heather in his arms. If he hasn’t told them how he feels yet, the adrenaline is going to make him say it. Then he runs, cradling Heather with one arm and pulling his s/o’s hand with the other. He’s hell-bent on getting his new family out of there.
James: After Silent Hill, James is basically on the other side of hell. He’s seen the worst of it, and now he’s a wreck for it. Laura will have to lead him back to his car, where his s/o is waiting for him. He falls into their arms, and Laura does her best to explain, but she doesn’t really understand what happened.
Heather: Heather finds her s/o when she calls the ambulance for Douglas. The two of them are sitting together. She smiles up at them and makes a sarcastic quip before bursting into tears about her father.
Henry: Henry’s s/o probably hasn’t seen him in a while, since he’s been trapped in his apartment. They’ve almost definitely been worried about him. When he shows up out of the blue, he practically melts into their arms. “You would not believe what I’ve just been through.”
Travis: Travis comes home after what was supposed to be an ordinary job. He collapses into bed and doesn’t say a word to his s/o at first. He’s been processing the whole drive home, and it still wasn’t enough. He represses a lot of it, and probably doesn’t say anything about it to his s/o for days.
Alex: In Alex’s house, crying was not okay for men to do. Adam heavily discouraged his sons from crying, so its not really in Alex’s nature to cry. But when he comes back from Shepherd’s Glen and sees his s/o, he breaks. He has a lot of trouble talking about what happened, but in that moment, he’s overwhelmed with how much better he feels.
Murphy: When Murphy comes back from Silent Hill, his s/o is probably shocked because he’s supposed to be in prison. He starts helping his s/o to pack their things, because they still need to keep moving. Murphy won’t be at peace quite yet, since they still need to get far enough away that the police won’t come looking for him. Even so, he seems less worried than when he was arrested initially.
