Rose sighed as she dropped her book bag onto her four-poster bed. ‘Well, I made it through the first day,’ she thought, now spreading her books across the bed, organizing her homework by subject and level of importance. As much as she hated to admit it, Rose was already feeling a bit homesick. At home, she didn’t have to worry about being lonely as she was always surrounded by her family. Not that she didn’t have family at Hogwarts. Most of her cousins were there with her, and her brother. But they all had their friends to spend time with. Rose felt as though she didn’t have any really close friends, even after five years of school.

Long moments passed with her doing nothing more than glaring at her homework, debating… To get a jump on it, or to go relieve some stress… The latter won out. Grabbing her broom, she headed from the Ravenclaw common room and started through the long corridors.
