Okay, it's not that I was waiting to read it - my TBR list is very long, okay? - but it's maybe a little surprising that it took this long for @rainintheevening to get me to the point of actually reading a Mitford book XD
A book you bought in 2025
I don't think I actually bought any books in 2025, but I had to switch out this question because I basically never reread a book a year after reading it for the first time.
But the best title of a book I got for Christmas this year was The Great Typo Hunt: Two Friends Changing the World, One Correction at a Time by Jeff Deck and Benjamin D. Hersch. I haven't started it yet, but it looks fun :D

I just read the first book, At Home in Mitford, for the first time and it’s basically an American take on the small country town vibes set in probably the 80s or 90s (semi-concurrently to when it was written), and the main character is an (Anglican, I think?) church leader, and it’s just absolutely lovely and comforting and edifying and I think you’d like her if the series continues as well as the first book did

As long as you have any floor space at all, you have room for books! Just make two stacks of books the same height, place them three or four feet apart, lay a board across them, and repeat. Viola! Bookshelves!
