Goals
The simple answer is I have them. I made a big list of them the other day.
But really those goals just boil down to live, take care of myself, do what makes me happy.
January 30, 2019 - Blog a Day
Prompt you’d like to see included on the blog a days this year
Here are a few I'd like to see:
When you were young, did you take part in a money making activity (lemonade stand, paper route, car wash)?
Is there a fictional character you identified with so closely you wanted to be that character?
A movie that everyone else thought was terrible that you really liked. (This could be done multiple times with book, TV show, song, etc. It could also be turned around: a movie or whatever that everyone loved but you couldn't stand.)
Something obsolete and no longer around that you wish was still here.
Are there things that happen in movies, TV shows or videos that make you cringe when you see them?
Were you in the "in crowd" when you were in school? How did you feel about it then? How do you feel about it now?
Something that happened in your life that you thought was bad at the time but you now see it turned out for good.
A movie with such a great message you wish it could be re-released or remade every few years.
Worst job you've had to date & why you thought it was the worst.
Favorite "Deep Thoughts" by Jack Handey. (Alternatively: Have you thought up any "Deep Thoughts" in the style of Jack Handey?)
I have missed some Blog a Day challenges; I think there may have been a few months I wasn't aware the challenge was happening. So if any of these have already been part of previous BADs, my apologies!
January Blog a Day: 6
A time you did something reckless
I’m made a lot of jumps in the last few years, lol. When I feel cornered or afraid, I decide to go for the jugular of what I want and try to force it...which is how I ended up in Maryland. And how we ended up in our lovely rental house now. It sounds so silly, but we didn’t consult any of our family members before we did so, and as someone with the history i have...that’s kinda huge. I’m proud of it- because I love this little place. I know MIL hates it- and fumes that we didn’t get her input. But frankly we didn’t need it, and we’re happy here, for now.
January 31: If you could have any superpower…
I wish I could speak in dog language, so I could explain to Jack that when I don’t take him on his usual walks it’s usually because of weather, or that when I leave town I’m definitely coming back, or that when I don’t give him all the treats he wants, it’s because I want him to be healthy, and not because he’s not a very good boy.
January 20: Sunday Seven
1. NFL overtime rules can suck it.
2. The ref who missed a blatant pass interference call that directly affected the outcome of the Saints/Rams game can suck it.
3. Tony Romo can suck it.
4. Dee Ford can suck it.
5. The dude who let his off leash dog come at Jack from all the way across the street, resulting in a scuffle that made my dog’s paw bleed can suck it.
6. The president can suck it.
7. The surprise clouds obscuring the super full blood wolf moon can suck it.
Bonus: the ref who called a phantom roughing the passer against Chris Jones, who barely even touched Tom Brady’s sleeve can suck it too.
January 28:Favorite month and why
July. Give me heat, give me sun, give me humidity, give me extra long days, give me floating around a pool with a cold beer, give me bare feet, give me cut offs every day, give me a tan.
Summer is my favorite season, and July is when it’s perfect.
January 12: How tall are you?
