I am not sure why you think fanfic writers all must be 14...when I know of many 20-30 somethings that write it because...get this...they enjoy it. If someone wants to write a fluffy piece because it brings them comfort...let them.
Whilst I do not personally like a lot of the ships, people have the right to write whatever they want because it is not all about what I like. No one is making you read it. No one is making anyone read it. No one is reading fanfic for historical accuracy. Plus, most people who write it view it as being about characters based on the show...much like Tudor (series) fans have done before. Get off your high horse and just don't engage with forms of media you don't like and stop vilifying what other people enjoy.

when i said 14 year old, i was referencing what you said in one of your many asks before this, but it seems to be the majority of ppl writing these fanfics. listen, i have no problem with your fanfics that acknowledge history and don’t use the queens like puppets, but my problem (which im allowed to have, anon) is when people do use them like puppets and put them in completely unrealistic situations in life. sure, write your fluffy pieces if it brings you joy, but if you decide to publish it, it’s weird how you’re treating these traumatic experiences like they are up for interpretation.
as for the ships, that’s where my line is crossed. that’s where you stop being a member of the queendom and become an idiot. that’s where you completely ignore the queens’ traumas, their lives, and make them into a gimmick. you need to stop with all this ‘people can do what they like’ shit because there are barriers, and if you are out here shitting on henry for what he did to howard at such a young age, but then shipping howard with queens much older than her, then you are completely misusing her story, for views.
