After her encounter with Embroidery, she feels like her blood is buzzing. Maybe it’s the adrenaline. Does she have that anymore? She isn’t sure.

She gets to work on a book. It’s taking her longer than usual to form it, by design. She needs it to serve a specific purpose and that takes more focus, more energy. She has a lot of energy right now. She isn’t sure why.

Soon enough, she’s holding a simple looking blue book. It buzzes in tune with her heart. Well, her soul, rather. It does have a small piece of it inside it. Makes it easier to transfer memories to.

Im from a long line of crazy fucking bitches. This was the aunt who used to be obsessed with cleaning, she loved seagulls cos they were so clean. She used to point them out and say “eeee! you could eat your dinner of his back!”

Anyway this is a sweet one! I never know what to say about myself or anything I enjoy so here’s an appallingly unironic letter I wrote to my distant cousin and her husband when I was 14. I found it in the notes on my old computer, and it made me laugh (and cringe)!

It’s summer 2013. You’re 11. Your grandma just passed away. Your family send you upstairs to play on the computer while they arrange the funeral. You watch the short-lived children’s satirical series DNN on iplayer. They have Lucy Spraggan on as a guest. She sings Lighthouse. You instantly become a lesbian. This is really bad timing.

Being a film student is the most degrading experience sometimes. Vet med student has to read 6 chapters on cow parasites and learn every bone in a cat by tomorrow. I’m reading a scathing article in the NYT and making an edit of lighting in David Lynch films.

Halden overblot concept

Remember, these are concepts, they are not the final product and are subject to change on my terms.

Halden has a good chance of going into an overblot, but I probably won't make it happen. If she were to overblot, then it would have to be before or after Riddle’s overblot. That’s because she would probably be sick of Riddle’s rules and just breakdown. She ran away from home to get away from the rules, not to come back to them. Her overblot form would probably reminisce both a jester and circus ringleader. It would be a motif to her past home, and her home in the circus. There could also be an incorporation of other circus acts like knife throwing, contortionist, fire breathing, and her current acrobatic acts in her design in general. Either that or they could be incorporated into her magic attacks. All in all, the one thing she needs to say is, “I’m the ringleader now!”
