Of course, when we assumed that it were merely magic, it did nothing to stigmatize your friend's mental illness. Rather, it excused it and placed the blame on someone else. Valerian Vale/Janiszewski has been lying about having a psychology degree, made up a story about a dead twin who he can't prove ever existed (or was even spoken of prior to 2018), went through our host's journals and trash to stigmatize THEIR mental illness, and acted egregiously when his partner merely wanted to take a vacation, as cited here:
