Question for Virgil: Opinions on literal snakes and krakens?
Virgil: I used to like snakes, I've always been a fan of underappreciated animals, and I always thought they were really cool. Now, though, they have some kinda bad connotations for me.
Virgil: Krakens are fucking awesome, though-
Patton: Virgil!
Virgil: Sorry, freaking awesome. I'm sure Remus would be thrilled to hear people compare him to a kraken, but to be honest I don't associate those with him the way I associate snakes with Janus. If I had to compare Remus to an animal, it would be... I dunno, a ferret maybe, or a really annoying mosquito.
HAHA guess who is slowly getting out of writing block :’)
Anyway wrote this at 2 am one night and am a bit proud of it so ya

Hot tears ran down Virgil's face.
Alone
The word seemed to burn itself into Virgil's life. Alone constantly, home, school, anywhere, everywhere. Alone, Alone, Alone. Virgil borrowed himself further into the blankets around him. Maybe he thought, if I burrow myself far enough, it'll feel like a hug. The thought only made the tears continue to fall.
No one wanted to comfort him, it was a fact Virgil thought he could comprehend. But sometimes, the fact his parents assumed he was constantly fine, or the fact he had no one in his life that considered him a friend...hurt. Hurt was to put it in simple terms, it more burned. Burned deep in his skin, burned whenever he saw someone hug another person, burned whenever someone's hand brushed his, burned when he sat alone in his bed late at night.
The sensation made him wanna claw his eyes out, scream till his voice was hoarse, rip out of his own skin.
Another rack of sob ripped from his throat as he shook in his bed. He felt cold, oh so cold, and lonely (what else was new). He reached down onto the floor, attempting to grab the blanket that had fallen there earlier. His hand though found something else. Something that burned. The burn though was different from the loneliness he felt, so different.
Loneliness burned like smoke, or being sat to close to a fire. It washed over him in waves, burning every part of him. It was a familiar feeling, but one he hated.
This burn though was strange, unfamiliar, yet comforting, almost addicting. And for a few seconds Virgil clung to that amazing, warm sensation. But after barely ten seconds he let go, cause that amazing sensation grew to be to much, it overwhelmed him, so he ripped his hand away like what he grabbed was a hot iron.
Virgil's hand flew back up to his bed. What the hell did I just grab? He thought to himself. His mind was cut off though as the sound of scuttling filled his dark room. Virgil went silent as he could. Something was in his room. Something big, and it was moving. And Virgil was Terrified.
The scuttling came to an abrupt end, leaving the only sound in the room to be Virgil's shaky breathing and small sobs that were still coming. He sat like that for minutes, or hours you could have told Virgil etheir and he would have believed you, but a small voice broke the silence.
"Are you ok?" The voice was very small, and came from across Virgil's room. And Virgil didn't know how to respond. Who was in his room? It didn't sound like his mom, or dad, or anyone who (on the rarity) would talk to him at school. "I saw you crying...you do that a lot" the voice said again. Oh great, Virgil thought to himself someone's in my room and they've been stalking me, I'm not getting out of this alive am I?
Silence fell over the room again, neither party knowing what to say. "Am I scaring you? I don't mean to. I'll leave-" "No please stay," Virgil didn't know why he wanted this voice to stay but he did, maybe cause he was scared of being alone, maybe he just wanted to talk to someone. All he knew is that he really didn't want another thing to leave him so suddenly.
"Who are you?" Virgil called into the dark of his room. "I go by Patton!" The voice happily said back. Patton, Virgil didn't know any Patton's… "um, where are you from?" Virgil asked. Patton giggled nervously, "would you believe me if I said under your bed?" Virgil went wide eyed, pulling himself closer to the center of the bed.
"No no no, don't be scared, I'm nice I promise!" Patton said quickly. Virgil, still curled up in a typed ball, skeptical, "why are you under my bed then?" Patton went silent for a second. "Do you have a flashlight?" He asked the anxious boy. Virgil was confused but quickly reached into his bedside tables drawer and retrieved a small flashlight keychain.
"Will this work?" He asked as he quickly turned it on. The keychain shined its light right in front of Virgil, revealing the some shelves of toys he had and part of his closet door. "Yes, that's perfect!" Patton said, "one more thing, you have to promise me you won't scream, ok?" Virgil tensed up a bit, he wasn't great with horror, but Patton didn't seem dangerous … "Ok I promise."
Virgil could practically hear the smile in Patton's voice, "ok...well"
A figure then stepped into the light. They looked about Virgil's age, though they were slightly shorter, they had short brownish blonde hair that curled slightly, they were wearing a gray cat onesie, the hood down, and perched on their nose were big round glasses. Behind the glasses though were the strangest eyes Virgil had ever seen. The whites of Patton's eyes were an opaque, light blue and his pupil and iris were pure black.
From his brownish-blonde curls were horns resembling a ram's. Virgil could also make out what he thought was blue fur running down the back of Patton's neck.
"Hi…" Patton said obviously a bit uncomfortable. Virgil stopped himself from staring. "Your eyes are pretty…" Virgil mumbled. Patton smiled, "Thanks! I like yours to!" Virgil's eyes were a pretty standard dark brown but he took the compliment. "So, how does this explain why you were under my bed?" Virgil asked, curious.
Patton let out a small sigh, before moving to sit down next Virgil. "I-uh…you know those stories, the ones with monster under your bed, or in your closet?" Virgil nodded. "I'm...one of those monsters."
Virgil was a little off-put, didn't monsters in those stories eat kid's toes or lure them under the bed and eat them whole? Was Patton gonna do that?! He seemed so nice though…
Patton seemed to notice Virgil's reaction, "monsters aren't as bad as the ones in the stories though." "They aren't?" Patton giggled, "not even close, all the monsters I've met are really pretty nice." Virgil looked at him curiously, "what other monsters?" Patton beamed, showing off his mouth of sharpish teeth "My closest friends are Roman and Logan. Roman really adventurous, Logan likes math and science, Roman also has a brother named Remus, he's a little...scary but has pretty cool horns. There's also Janus, who has scales- and oh I'm sorry I ramble a lot."
Virgil smiled, "it's fine, I don't mind."
Patton smiled again, "what are your friends like?" Virgil frowned, eyes stinging a bit, "I-I don't have, friends…" Patton frowned, "is that why you're sad?" Virgil bit his lip before nodding.
Patton put a hand on his shoulder, "do you need a hug?" Virgil nodded quickly before practically flinging himself into Patton's touch. As Patton wrapped his arms the taller boy, Virgil felt that burning again. That addictive, comforting burn, it felt amazing.
For a minute Virgil thought he could live there forever, in the safety and warmth of Patton's touch. But that warm, safe touch soon grew too warm and Virgil suddenly felt overwhelmed almost, claustrophobic. He pushed away from the others touch, noticing how his eyes had started leaking tears, his breathing a bit uneven as well.
"I-im sorry, I don't get hugs often, i-it's just a lot." Virgil attempted to explain. "Hey it's ok, just breath in and out, you'll be alright." Patton said, comforting the other the best he could. It luckily didn't take long to get Virgil's breathing under control.
Virgil smiled shyly at the other, "Thanks Pat, for that. No one has ever helped me through one of those." Patton gave Virgil a small, slightly sad smile, "it's what friends do."
Virgil went wide eyed. "Friends?" Patton bit his cheek, "if you wanna be?" Virgil beamed, "I'd really like that" Patton smiled back. "Me to".
Yay! He’s my favorite person to hurt.... I literally hurt him way to much poor Snek but sure!
TW: Torture, Gaslighting, Manipulation
Janus and Remus were locked in the subconscious because Thomas refused to acknowledge them, during this time Remus has only one subject of fun Janus. Remus expérimented on him and Tortured him, Remus gave Janus extra arms
Janus where Remus is his only friend but Remus is super abusive
Remus haunts Janus’ dreams and manipulates his dreams so he’s not even safe there
Angry Remus after Janus was able to leave twice, he knocked Janus out and escaped to face his brother and started torturing the others and Thomas through the thoughts
Remus keeps Janus’ room freezing because Janus is a snake and he finds it funny how Janus reacts
Logan: I believe I mentioned that I like Agatha Christie's books in one of our early videos, but I am also a fan of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's works. I find Sherlock Holmes quite a relatable protagonist - he abhors emotion almost as much as I do.
Roman: Careful with those lies, I thought we didn't want Deceit finding this blog.
Question for Virgil: Thoughts on bowler hat wearing Snakes and mustached Krakens? (It's for research)
Patton: Oh, that sounds adorable! Virge, imagine a snake wearing a hat!
Virgil: No, that's not what- never mind. See? This is why I didn't want to do this! I knew people would just want to pry into my past. What happened back then is my business, nobody else's. I don't want to think about either of them anymore, because they sure as hell don't care about me.
Roman: Um, you good, emo?
Virgil: Do I look good?
Roman: No... actually you're kinda scary right now...
When Virgil left the 'dark sides' he made sure to leave an impact. He went through and destroyed all of Janus vinyls and his record player, along with ripping up all of the pictures Janus had of all of them.
