Daily MCO Drink #194, MCO Day #196: JAPANESE SLIPPER, made with equal parts Joseph Cartron Melon Liqueur, Cointreau, and lemon juice, shaken over ice and strained. . Didn’t have Midori, but I did find this bottle of melon liqueur by Joseph Cartron, which I personally feel isn’t as cloyingly sweet as Midori. . However, that might have altered the balance of the drink though, as the lemon juice sourness stands out a lit more compared to the liqueur. . Still, even with Midori, I don’t see this as a drink I’d make often.
