Under the stars | Sarisha and Jardine

The muffled sound of their footsteps on the sand was the only audible noise, besides of the wavering sea in the distance. She was staring at her feet while the breeze played with the tips of her long, blonde hair. On her arms, her child slept peacefully, exhausted after spending the day on the beach. By her right, the man who had once been her fiancé couldn't take his eyes off her.

The footsteps stopped when they reached Sarisha's front porch. She cleared her throat, forcing herself to look up, and spoke for the first time since Aidan fell asleep. "So... This was really nice."
