" And it still irks me whenever you do that." Madge remarked and wiggled around his grip so she was no longer with her back turned against him, " No, it is rather creepy and you know it."

"Are you kidding me? You know how many rom-coms have a scene like that in and all the girls watching it are like 'oh, I wish my boyfriend did that to me.'" Jardine laughed as he saw her face. "But look, if it bothers you so much then I won't do that anymore, okay?"

A chuckle escaped his lips as soon as Rory felt the other’s hand ruffle through his hair, that was something that only Jardine did and it made Rory feel like a little boy and of course also safe. it was strange to say that rory felt a more brotherly bond to this man than to his actual brother, Gale. “That would make the two of us" Rory was always starving, no matter how much he ate, truth was he would even eat his own shoe if it were necessary.

Following Jardine into the restaurant he let his blue orbs wander around the room before they lingered on the back door towards the kitchen. The most amazing smells seemed to be coming from that direction and that was for sure not helping rory to say the least. Sitting down with the other Rory gave up a warm smile of his own before adding “I was thinking about…pasta? I don’t know… as long as it is not fish I’m happy. What are you taking?"

"Hey, don't diss the fish." Jardine said jokingly as he took off this leather jacket and put in on the back of his chair. "The first time I every had seafood was when I came here and I loved it. But I guess that's what happens when you are only used to eating whatever you could get your hands on." He licked this lips slightly before he nodded and waved the waiter over, "Pasta sounds good." When the waiter came over Jardine told him that they were ready to order, "Can we have a manigot and a coke. The garlic bread is included right? Two lofts sounds good." He nodded towards his friend, "You ready?"

As Rory got off the train in district four he realized that he was slightly late and began to run down the wounded side streets almost crashing into people as he made his way down to the restaurant where Jardine and him had wanted to meet. He had not seen the man in a while, which of course was something that Rory did not like, seeing as though Jardine had grown to be like a brother for Rory. Pushing the thoughts aside he turned around another corner and almost crashed into a man that was standing there with his arms folded before his chest.

A bright smile moving onto his lips he looked up to the other and added “sorry I’m late, the train had it’s difficulties on it’s way here" which was true, it had randomly stopped in the middle of the track and not even the driver knew what was going on. Looking towards the small restaurant the smile on his lips only did seem to grow, due to the fact that Rory loved food “how are you doing?"

Jardine was almost knocked off his feet when the boy ran into him, but when he saw it was Rory he smiled down at him, "Hey, it's alright. You can't make the train go any faster I guess." He ruffled his hair playfully before he nodded to the restaurant, "Come on, I'm starving, let get inside."

A warm smile was on Jardine face as he walked into the restaurant. It was nice to be able to spend some time with Rory again. It was like he was hanging out with the little brother that he always wanted but never had. Some lost family connection that he was never able to have with his own family and a chance to be the big brother that his own brother wasn't. "So what do you want to eat?"
