Reflect the sun Mixed media I did something last night I haven’t done in quite some time and got out some actual paint. Still ended up using oil pastels because I’m obsessed with crayon drawing. Still not on a massive scale, I’d love to do these on a 3x4ft canvas and just go wild. I forgot how much I love paint. I was feeling really inspired and felt like I could actually get paint out and get messy again. Maybe in the future I can shoot a video of the creation process. I know I said I’d be doing more figurative work again but I got to get that stuff organized so I can start telling direct stories again. For now I’ll keep with the abstract pieces with poetic titles. Believe it or not these things are meant to represent things.
