I wanna draw a jarunko comic now,,,, even tho I thought of this as a gag, it actually has the potential to be so so sweet?? Gunko had her whole adult life stolen by Imu, she never got to experience falling in love and growing old with someone. She stayed an eternally young woman for god knows how many years, always by Imu's side as his personal pet. It's not a coincidence that the moment she recalled some of her original memories and tried to free Brook, was the exact moment Imu possessed her.

It'd be really wholesome if Jarul told Gunko that she's his exact type an older woman who can kick his ass while she's in the middle of lamenting how she never got to live her life and love someone out of her own volition. It's never too late to love and fall in love!

To me, it looks like the sword in Jarul's head is the late king's, while Loki wields a hammer.

Jarul probably has lost memories around the wound.

I'd bet Loki is not a bad guy for this part of the story.

      Jorul’s best friend, “Beardhill” Jarul was the co-captain of the Giant Warrior Pirates. After the Winter Solstice’s fasting drove child Linlin into a frenzy, she fatally injured Jorul in her frenzy. Jarul attempted to slaughter her in her sleep for this crime, but was stopped by Mother Carmel. However, they did not ever want to see her again, and in fact act as though she had never lived in Elbaph. It is unknown if he’s still alive, as he was 345 60 years ago (making him 405 now). Giants are known, however, to live 3 times as long as humans (which, in One Piece, have a lifespan of 145 years, making theirs roughly 435 years). Hopefully we will get to see him in an Elbaph arc.
