Jaskier: (literally runs towards danger instead of away from it.)
Jaskier to Ciri: Sometimes I feel like my world is ending.
Jaskier: Why does life hate me? I'm going to kill myself. (When he stubs his toe against a door.)
Ciri starts to pick up on it too after awhile...
Ciri after her first successful hunt: That was great Geralt but I wanted to kill myself when that monster disarmed me.
Ciri: Damn this cold sucks.
Jaskier: Like we do!
Both of them: (High five each other)
I can just imagine Geralt constantly being confused and trying to get rid of whenever thing they joke about trying to kill them.

Geralt: (hides Jaskier's lute.)
Ciri: Training makes me want to DiE!
Geralt: (pointedly lessens the physical tolls during work outs and such.)
Meanwhile Yennefer is just laughing her ass off at Geralt running around trying to wrap his boyfriend and daughter up in bubble wrap.
