Jasper better pray to every god in existence that Belle never founds out what he is actually like. When she becomes Queen of Avari, she canonically becomes a predators worst nightmare. Compare to any other crime, she gives the most torturous, cruelest punishments to sexual predators. For my own sanity, in this universe he is nothing like that. BUT, if he were, when he would see what Belle would do, he’d think to himself “Oh 😰. It appears I should be very careful of what I do.”

Since I think all of ya are probably tired of seeing how salty I am about Jasper and how much I don't like her I won't be posting anything related to her and blocking all the Jasper blogs so I don't have to see them reeing their ugly head when I'm trying to look at the SU tag

Seriously, I don’t dislike Jasper because of how she looks and I don’t dislike her just because she is butch.  I like how she looks to be honest.  It is her personality that I dislike.  Jasper’s actions and personality always bothered me.

the thing about “jasper redemption arcs” that bother me isnt that jasper is inherently bad, no redemption utter garbage. i dont think thats true at all.

what bothers me about them is the situation that her being redeemed puts lapis, garnet, and to a lesser extent peridot in

to be frank, i dont trust the su crew to do any of their trauma justice while redeeming jasper (regardless of if you’re team lapis was abused or team toxic, it honestly doesnt matter either way because its not a good outcome in the end)

what i think would be ideal is redeeming jasper in a way that doesnt require her to be a part of the main gems in the end. dont just add her to the group after a few watered down apologies and pretend that everyone is going to be okay with it

for example, have her be an ally somewhere else. another planet, another team, somewhere where she isnt going to be a possible traumatic trigger for someone
