Jack and Jasper: Quit Melting My Snow!
@jasperofspring
It was infuriating. Jack was sure he had made it snow here at least twice in the past two days. Where was all the snow going? He was determined to make this a white Christmas for the village in which he had grown up. He willed the temperature to lower and the clouds to roll in. Aside from a chilly breeze, nothing much seemed to happen.
“What...? What is going on?! Did Manny take away my powers for some reason?” He asked no one in particular. The moon was not out tonight, so Jack just aimed his glared at the sky in general. It didn’t make any sense. This part of the world should be near freezing and covered in snow this time of year. Why was it so warm? It was almost like it was... Spring.
An idea popped into his head. Maybe there was another Guardian or spirit around causing mischief. Playing some sort of sick prank on him. Well, if that was the case, he was going to find out who it was and make them regret messing with the Prank Master.
After a little flying around, scouting, Jack found a person who was out alone in the middle of the woods. They seemed very distracted and confused, pacing about. Knowing that most humans would be in their homes and in bed at this time of night, Jack assumed this must be the culprit who ruined his snow days.
Jack alighted just a few feet in front of him “HEY!” He shouted, marching towards him to close the distance. “What’s the big idea?! You think this is funny? Melting my snow? It is Winter, Buddy. And this is my town! Go find somewhere else to make Spring.” He said the word with disdain. He was close now to the boy, who did not appear much older than Jack. Or at least, no older that Jack was when he died. He had bright red hair and purple eyes. Jack tried not to get angrier by the fact that the boy was clearly not dressed for winter. “Well...? I’m waiting...”
